The Rector is available to provide pastoral care and support at times of bereavement.
Funerals may be held at St Mark’s Church, a crematorium / cemetery chapel or at the graveside.
If St Mark’s Church is used, the fees are
- Church $400 (including verger and audio visual)
- Priest (by negotiation)
- Organist $250
Families may also make a thank-offering to God to mark the celebration of the life lost.
St Mark’s can recommend a local florist, with whom the family can make arrangements.
St Mark’s Hall may be available to enable an opportunity for a time of sharing with appropriate refreshments after the service. We can provide the names of local caterers. Alternatively, some families make use of nearby ‘Pinnacle’ (South Hurstville RSL Club), 72 Connells Point Road, South Hurstville 2221, telephone (02) 9546 3436.
